| In my opinon, I think you are right on Nippy! That is how I looked at this whole thing with MJ. |
|
| by NIPPY6781 on August 3, 2009 |
| Ok, my 2 cents worth and its only my gut feeling. I think the guy was innocent. I think the guy was doing something he believed was harmless. I think the guy had no youth and wanted to spend as much time with kids to somehow recapture all the wonderful things he never enjoyed about being a kid. I think the guys natural mental progress was damaged from an early age and never recovered, thus turning him into the weirdo we all perceived him to be. I think he wanted to be white. I think his father was a complete c**t. I think thats about the size of it. |

| I wasnt aware that it was illegal to sleep in the same bed as an 11 year old male child! |
|
| by RUMOUR on August 2, 2009 |
My last comment on this blog!
Horse and Melvin, have you forgotten that MJ actually admitted he slept with 11 year old boys? Even if he saw this as innocent, it just aint right! Maybe he hadn't grown up and the fact that he was miss treated as a child was used heavily in his trial, but he did know right from wrong! He did know it wasn't right! Why else would he have paid millions of dollars to get out of the court case first time around?
But anyhoo... I don't wish him any more harm than he has already done himself, but I do want people to remember what lifestyle choices he made for himself.
Good luck and goodnight |

| Two of the ,then boys, who accused MJ of molestation, recantd their stories last week. Stated that MJ did not moleste them. And that their parents put them up to the whole idea to obtain money. |

Wow TRUCK!
You sound a bit upset. I did not call you a racist. I said that I would not "go there" on your suggestion to be proud of my race (see you comment somewhere below).
Look TRUCK, you win this "war" even before it begins; there. With me, it is that easy. May Michael Jackson rest in peace!
Let's go back to enjoying this lifestyle.

RUMOUR,
Please help me write better sentences. You are definitely a fighter; I am a lover not a fighter. "Make love not war"... What else do you want me to say until you get it?
Being a lover means being able to accept opinions. I gladly accept your opinions; in fact, I did from day 1.
Did I offend you? If so, I apologize.
I maintain, however, that it is time that people stop repeating the press as if they were speaking from first-hand knowledge or experience, not just regarding MJ but all such things.
Now, this little exchange is over. Let's have a drink and talk about something else. What do you think?

as for RUMOUR, there is plain artistic analysis and then there is appreciation and even fanaticism.
The thing you forget is that we are all capable of opinions! Those three comments are just that, opinions! But I also have an opinion and just because you don't happen to agree with it, it is still valid
the question to you remains one that you cannot objectively answer which tells me that you have at least bias which you do: you think (or you have media knowledge) that MJ is ....... (you fill in the blanks.
in the words of MJ, i am a lover not a fighter.
So after all that and with some badly constructed sentences, I still have no idea what BIAS you are alluding to! I suspect it is what Truck mentioned, race! If that is the case, oh how wrong you are!!! lol If not and as you have accused me of bias, I demand that you state clearly what you mean!

TRUCK, i read what you wrote somewhere; actually, can't remember which publication. did you mention race? we won't go there.

Amen to that Truck.
Melvin... As to whether MJ was a good entertainer.. That is subjective! Just because you may think he is, it don't make me think the same.. Can't see where you are going with the whole John Lennon thing! Being a good entertainer is something that each individual decides for themselves, the words and actions of John Lennon confirmed that he had a message of peace & love for the world!
Bias? I would love to know what bias you mean! |
|
| by MELVIN on July 26, 2009 |
C'mon RUMOUR you know better than that!
The bias that s you showed its makeup in your own words: "he may have been a good entertainer..." Let's see... I thought I heard you say that John Lennon may have had a message of peace & love for the world.

"You have no shame! Humor? Jealousy? Ignorance?"
Humour? Certainly!
Jealousy? Certainly not!
Ignorance? If anyone is ignorant of MJ's life and all the controversy that surrounded him, they would not be posting on this blog!!!
Melvin... He may well have been a good entretainer, but I for one still can't get over how he paid all that money to keep out of court the first time he was accused of child abuse.. There is no smoke without fire! The guy was weird in ways that re-wrote the definition of weird!
No matter how good he was, I am not selfish enough to ignore the allegations against him and just allow that to go on! By continuing to buy his material and going to see him live, his fans are condoning what he did!
Now I would suggest that if you don't like this blog, don't read it!! Simples... |

Well, it's a story right out of American mythology: The Great Gatsby, Citizen Kane, Elvis, etc: Guys from the middle of nowhere who someohow become kings of the world--and then it all goes crashing down. He was as bizarre as he was talented. The funeral was overdone. the eulegies a bit absurd. The last ten years of his life or so--including the funeral was a tawdry spectacle. And, once upon a time he was an amazingly talented kid and for a while was a good looking, wholesome young man. I don't know if the pederasty stuff is true, but I always did wonder that if he loved children so much, why did you hardly ever se him with little girls? He didn't seem to have nay real affection for them. And, if he is the biological father of his children, well, then I will eat my hat. My only other comment is to say that Paul McCartney was too cheap to buy the Beatles catalogue, which at $50 million at the time was an amazing bargain. So, he has no right to criticize jackson. |

LOL...........have to admit,,, he was talented and i did enjoy his music but,,,,,,,,, HE WAS ONE WEIRD PERSON. me thinks they should have locked him within NEVERY LAND, sent food in and he could send us his music. the world should have never made personal contact with him.

Its also been discovered that the heart attack was brought on when he discovered that 'Boys 11 Men' were a band and not a delivery service.
Doctors are also puzzled by his death and dont know whether the blame it on the sunshine, the moonlight , the good times or the boogie.
